Conference Center Positions

We are looking for people passionate about serving the Lord. Our ministry provides a unique opportunity for young adults to live and work in a beautiful community that is truly life-changing. By working at Mission Springs you will gain work experience, a Christ-centered community, opportunities to learn and grow, and a summer full of lasting memories. Hundreds of guests visit Mission Springs each week throughout the summer to be refreshed, renewed, and to grow spiritually in a place free of distraction. As part of our staff, you will help make that happen for our guests, and also experience it yourself.

Many positions are needed from the end of May to the end of August (12 to 14 weeks of employment). Conflicting school schedules may be accommodated.

  • Guest Services / Office Assistant (1 Position Open)

    Greet customers, interact with and aid retreat leaders and guests, answer phones, sort mail, handle money, and provide office support. There will be additional administrative duties as well. Must be a well-organized and mature team player. Must have pleasant and calm personality, computer skills, and be able to multi-task.

  • Guest Services / Host (3 Positions)

    The Host’s primary responsibility is to assist the Guest Services team in offering hospitality to our guests. A key component is developing a strong relationship with guest group leaders and helping the guests accomplish their goals while at Mission Springs, while minimizing distractions. Specific duties include meeting room set-up, audio-visual set-up, quick response to guest needs, and keeping all meeting spaces clean and organized. Applicants must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and have experience in customer service. Ability to lift 50lbs or more.

  • Program Office Assistant (1 Position)

    Main Duties will be to provide assistance to Camp Registrar in all aspects of camper registrations. Must be detail oriented & able to multi-task, have strong computer and organization skills, knowledge of camp policies & activities. Responsibilities include: weekly camper cabin assignments; emailing/calling parents regarding camp policies, payments due: tracking waitlists for each week of camp; inputting payments, medical cards & registrations; filing. Prepare reports for and work Sunday Check-In at Frontier Ranch. Coordinate with Frontier Ranch administrative assistant on various tasks. ~ For 2 weeks of the summer; work as the Program Director’s assistant for the ‘Covenant Family Camp’. Assisting with: paper work, activities, coordinating FR staff, and working with CFC teachers.

  • Lifeguard (3 Positions)

    Current Lifeguard Training Certificate, Standard First Aid, Adult CPR and AED Certification required.

    Provide a safe atmosphere in and around the pool. Maintain and clean the pool, deck area, and locker rooms. Must have a warm personality that makes people feel welcome at the pool.

  • Food Service Staff (8 Positions)

    Provide service ministry by serving guests in the dining room. Duties include setting and clearing tables and assisting with basic meal preparations, as well as serving during meals. Servers must have a pleasant personality and a willingness to work hard while having fun serving our guests with a focus on glorifying God in all you do. You could also pick up some great cooking tips! This position is paid more than other conference center positions.

  • Retail / Gift Shop (3 Positions)

    Must have a valid driver’s license.

    Applicants will be working in the 2 areas of retail at Mission Springs. They include the swimming pool snack bar, Treasured Gift at the Conference Center. Responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and attractiveness of facilities, selling and restocking of inventory. Must enjoy cheerfully serving our guests. Retail and cash register experience helpful. Looking for staff that enjoys working as a team, and willing to make the extra effort. These positions can be fast paced at times and include working some mornings and evenings.

  • Housekeepers (4 Positions)

    Work as part of a team to maintain a standard of cleanliness and order in our guest rooms, meeting rooms, and restrooms. Be a part of and help lead the team in changeovers between guest groups. This position is paid more than other conference center positions.

  • Maintenance (2 Positions)

    Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    Responsible to clean and maintain buildings and grounds, and help with maintenance projects. Must be able to take initiative, work hard, and be self-motivated. Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and power equipment operation desired.
