Julie Larson

Guest Services Director

I started working in guest services at Mission Springs in 1991, but long before that, I worked in the dining room as a teenager. I guess I’m one of the old-timers now! A California native, I love my crazy, beautiful town of Santa Cruz. Food is my passion; I love to read about food, watch the Cooking Channel, and cook, although my main hobby is going out to eat so that someone else will cook for me. I also like to proofread things, which I admit is kind of nerdy. The best thing about working at Mission Springs is the fun staff and hearing stories about how God has blessed those who retreat here. My favorite comment from a guest: “I infinity percent believe in God now; it’s all because I came here.”

Rachel Lockridge

Director of Guest Groups

Rachel grew up in Orange County, CA attending camp throughout her youth. She is an alumnus of Humboldt State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration. After college she worked for Marriott and Wyndham resorts in various departments. Rachel served as an intern at Mission Springs 2011-2013 during which time she met her husband. Following her internship, Rachel served as a youth pastor at a local church then came back to Mission Springs full time in 2016 in group sales. She lives at Mount Hermon with her husband Matt, daughter Alexandra, sons Landon and Ashton where she enjoys reading, baking cookies and a good cup of coffee.
