Women’s Conference

At Mission Springs, we deeply value the unique voices and perspectives that each woman brings to our faith community. This special weekend is designed to be a transformative experience, offering countless opportunities to connect with other women from diverse backgrounds and life journeys.

Throughout the conference, you’ll find space to listen to inspiring stories and share your own, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual understanding. Our sessions and activities are crafted to provide encouragement, fellowship, and the chance to build rich, lasting memories.

Whether through heartfelt conversations, uplifting worship, or moments of quiet reflection in the beauty of nature, our goal is for you to leave Mission Springs with a renewed sense of God’s love and a clear purpose to love others. Join us for a weekend that promises to refresh your spirit, deepen your faith, and strengthen your connections with fellow women.

Isaiah 43:19: See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

We spend our lives avoiding the wilderness. Yet it is often in the wilderness that we encounter the Lord’s provision, promises, and presence. We even read that Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, was led in the wilderness. What can we learn from time spent in the wilderness?

  • Speakers and Worship
             Jilane Hawkins

With over 30 years in ministry, including co-founding Canyon Springs Church in San Diego, Jilane Hawkins brings warmth, wisdom, and humor to every message. A gifted speaker and Bible teacher, she helps women connect Scripture to real life with practical, relatable teaching. Jilane now partners with The White Rainbow Project, serving widows and at-risk women in India. As a spokesperson, she’s available to speak at women’s events and can add a missions focus with powerful stories
and fair-trade products that directly support the women.

    Susie Gamez

Susie is a pastor, speaker, and reconciler. She is Canadian by birth, Korean by heritage, Mexican by marriage, and American by immigration, but above all, she is a Kingdom citizen. Susie is passionate about matters surrounding justice, equity, reconciliation, and the Gospel, which encompasses it all.

Born in Toronto, raised in Vancouver, Susie moved to Los Angeles after college. Thinking she might pursue a career in journalism, she got a degree in Communications and Sociology. In her last year of college, she attended a college missions conference called Urbana, and sensed God calling her into full-time ministry instead. Susie and her husband, Marcos, started dating while they were students at Fuller Theological Seminary, where they both got their M.A. in Intercultural Studies. They decided to fully commit to the “intercultural life” by getting married and having four beautiful children together. After serving as a youth/young adult pastor and church planter in South Central L.A. for 14 years, Susie continues to preach around the country and serves as Co-Lead Senior Pastor at Midtown Church.

    Savana Jensen

Savana Jensen is a freelance contemporary worship leader who has been serving various churches across the Bay Area for over 10 years. She grew up in Redwood City, and is grateful to still call the Bay “home.” Her mission is to use her love for Jesus, the people of God, and music to create and shepherd worshipers of Christ at home and in the church. Outside of worship leading, Savana enjoys songwriting – she released her own EP in 2018 – and is a wife and mom of two young children.
