Guest Services Host

Howdy! My name is Gregory Alexander. I am the Guest Services Lead Host. I joined the Mission Springs family in July of 2006, when I took over as the Director of Waste Management. That means that I was the garbage-man. In December of 2007, I took over the position of Lead Host.

I was born in the summer of 1982, here in Santa Cruz, while my parents were students at Bethany Bible College (now called Bethany University). Shortly after I was born, we moved to Corning, a small town in the Northern California. After eighteen years of country living, I made the trip back to Santa Cruz to attend Bethany University myself, where I am working on degree in psychology.

In the fall of 2002, I met my wife Rebecca while I was a student at Bethany and she was an employee at Blockbuster Video here in Scotts Valley. Ask us the story of how we sometime, we love to tell it. On January 13, 2007 (the 39th anniversary of Johnny Cash’s “Live at Folsom Prison” album), we were married at sunset, at the lighthouse in Santa Cruz.

When I am not serving here at Mission Springs, you can find me with family and friends or indulging my loves of old country and rockabilly music or reading comic books. My wife and I love being a part of the Mission Springs family and taking part in the amazing work, that God is performing here. I look forward to meeting you.
