Intern

I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. I first came out to Mission Springs to work on summer staff while I was still in high school, and I absolutely fell in love with this place! After working here another summer and then attending Northpark University for a year, I decided that I simply could not stay away, so I transferred and moved out here to the Santa Cruz area. I made this place my home, and began to really invest in the community here. I started leading Young Life in 2007, which has been a major part of my life; I even spent some time on Young Life student staff. Fast forward a couple years and I decided to come back to summer staff here at Mission Springs in the summer of 2009. As my fourth total summer working here I thought surely it would be my last, but once I found out about the opportunity to apply for the internship starting in the fall I knew that I couldn’t pass it up!

In my free time I like to go outdoors and enjoy the beauty that Santa Cruz has to offer, from hiking in the mountains to swimming in the ocean. I also enjoy playing around with photography and working on my painting. I love my family; they are a very important part of my life and have been a constant support to me!
